Ms. Alvarado focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation. Her knowledge in those areas originates from years working at Guatemalan Courts. She has experience in prosecuting claims against companies with domicile in Guatemala regarding the breach of commercial contracts executed in other jurisdictions, and has participated in litigation in connection with shareholder’s rights. She has also handled cases representing corporate employers in labor claims.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2005, Ms. Alvarado worked at the Department of Justice, First Instance Court of the Civil Branch, 2001-2005.
