Pro bono work

Carrillo y Asociados is one of the “collaborators of Pacunam” – Foundation of Cultural and Natural Mayan Patrimony (Fundación Patrimonio Cultural y Natural Maya). This is a very exciting pro bono Mirador Basin and to achieve its nomination as cultural and natural patrimony by UNESCO.

Mirador Basin is one of the biggest and most ancient sites of the Mayan civilization, with 2,128 square kilometers of wildlife, tropical rainforest, and archeological reserves. Our contribution has consisted in reviewing, analyzing and proposing solutions to the legal framework applicable to Mirador Basin.
